I'd go if the Overalls Dude was there (assuming he's still alive). The look on that guy's face as he sings along while holding the stage front is what the Dead is all about for me. Pure, perhaps chemically-enhanced, joy.

Hahah!

Why dose YouTu blur his gonads?
Not nice
Veneta Pole Dancer reminds me of Egypt pyramid climbers putting Dead flag up, except Egyptians were 45 years old at the time according to the Egypt home movie with Ken Kesey

I sat in line with him many times in the early 80's. Had a hysterical experience with him waiting outside the Frost at 3am for the '82 shows. He had cut his hair and gotten all cleaned up, to the point where no one recognized him. A bunch of people started talking trash about him not realizing he was sitting right there. I looked over to him and could just barely contain my laughter.

Good times all around.

I definitely spent way more time in line outside the Greek/Frost/Red Rocks/Oak Aud etc than inside seeing the shows...not to mention sitting out in line at the ticket outlets just to get Greek/Frost tickets. Before the mail order started. More time hanging out with Deadheads. It all rolls into one.
